My passenger rear shock broke I am wondering if I can replace the shock only instead of the whole strut. I got quotes from 300-400 and they saying I got to repalce the whole thing. Also is this easy to do????

Possible, but not wise as the remaining shock on that axle would have a lot more wear and the damping would be asymmetrical.
