shock bodies for the y33.

I'm kinda new to this forum, not to nissan/infiniti. I've been looking everywhere a company that sells replacement shock bodies for the y33. anyone known of anything or is my search in vain?

If your looking for aftermarket ones, nobody in the US carries anything. There are a number of us on the board that were not satified replacing our stock systems with fresh stockers so we had to get some crafty people to import KYB SR Specials from Japan. It is more $$ and a bit more work but well worth it. Onetongarage (search for his name) was the man that found them and brings in a load every couple of months when he gets enough people intersted. They are WAY Better than stock and that coupled with 2" lowering springs turns the 2nd gen Q45 into a great handling car.

nope. i know about the inserts. i'm talking about the part the insert is inserted into. say you damage the housing or the spindle. what then. a whole new strut? just trying to find out if there is anywhere to pick up the spindle and body without the guts. yeah i know it's weird but just need to know.

I had seen that a lot of the members had got in on some of the kyb inserts. will contact oneton to see if we can get something going again.

The body can be had from everythinginfiniti.com , oneton is the man if you want the KYB inserts.
