Shock and strut replacement 01 pathy

Well I'm around 90K on the Pathy and could use some new shocks and struts. The front seems to sound like its bottoming out when i hit even the smallest of bumps.

If i took this to the shop how much do you think the damage would be?What if i did it myself? I know that i need the compressor tool for the front but other than that how hard of an install are we talking?

I'm really trying to get an estimate before i look around.

What are the best replacements? Ranchos?

I really just want the smoothest possible ride.

Also, dont go with the KYB mounts and bearings, they are junk.Rock Auto sales a kit that includes mounts, bearings, bellows, and stops, for 59 a side. Its the Spicer super kit.I just got mine, and they are better than OEM, and cheaper in price.
