I have a '91 240SX fastback SE model. Recently I've noticed the sound of bumping the ground by the front end more often than before, actually it sounds like the lower end of front springs hit the inner tread of front tires. Does it mean that the front springs are softened? Thanks.

possibly. what is more likely is that your shocks are worn out and you are bottoming out the bump stops. you may want to invest in some shocks. they can be had from many of our sponsors like midway nissan. if you have the money i reccomend some koni shocks from http://www.tirerack.com
