shock absorber question

i have an 03 coupe with around 55k miles. was wondering how long do the factory shocks usually last before you change them out. also, does anyone know anything about tokico hp shocks (blue)? wondered if they are identical riding characteristics as the stock shocks. thanks.

not sure on those tokico's but I have tokico D-SPEC 16 way adjustable shocks. Which I can manually adjust for race stiff to OEM smooth, at the top of each shock with a little key/wrench that comes with them. I have them set around middle range most of the time.....so a little stiffer than stock, but still nice ride. Then I stiffen them up for track days.

only time i ever replaced one was because it was leaking on a fx with like 20k miles on it
