Shiro 300ZX Turbo

I know this is not a "for sale" site but a friend of mine is selling his 1989 300ZX turbo. It is also the Shiro edition. For those of you who dont know what that is, its a special edition Nissan built for i believe only one year (1989) there were only 100 of these things built so you know nobody else is going to have it! this one is #59. The Shiro's came in a pearl white and this car is loaded, power windows, locks, ac. everything you could get at the time. The car is in AMAZING shape!! it only has 65 000 miles on it. I know he just had a bunch of service things done to it and its always been serviced at nissan. it was his dads car to start with and hes only had it for a few months. it has been pampered and not abbused at all!! He has it on the internet autotraders but we figured the only people that could really appreciate and know what this cars all about is you guys! so if anyones interested let me know and i can give you his contact info!!

if it's a real shiro it's an 88 model, also known as the 88SS, thats the lowest miles I've seen on one for sale, feel free to link to the autotrader add

oh,and I don't think you can get any Z31 without power windows, locks, ac, etc, at least not in the states, and the SS/shiro/white model came with recarr seats, and upgraded suspension

I could be mistaken I'm not sure. But it does have the badge in the middle of the console saying something like Shiro #59 out of 100.. And yes does have the recarr seats as well. I will get the site link from him and if you are interested im sure the vin as well just so you can check it and see its the real deal!!

heh, I got no room for another Z, wish I did, a local bud is selling his black pearl, if you aren't familiar with the S30's they didn't come in black till 78 and then it was s special edition, just paint and graphix but still limited run origional, I keep finding deals on the SS's but just not the right deal at the right time, 3 Z's is keeping me busy, gotta get rid of the turd of the litter (Z32TT)

Can't verify the Canadian VINs since no one will send me a copy of the Canadian version of the FAST software. But if there is a picture of the model plate in the engine bay, that will satisfy any doubters.

Also, Canada only got (supposedly) 75 of them (US got 1002). And yes. They are all 1988 models.

pis's no, price yes, $2k, it's got one small dent on the left rear quarter, beside the tail light, and is in black primer, it's a califiornia car, he bought it, drove ti to KY and then the engine went, he replaced the longblock with a lower miles 80 model engine

Hmm well if it's in black primer, and there's no original engine, then what is left to say it was an actual Black Pearl 280Z? As I understand it, Nissan never kept a registry of what cars came equipped and painted in any particular fashion... thus no Id'ing a Black Pearl by VIN, only by original color/decals right? ...and even then, it's not exact since Nissan sold Decal kits until they ran out a few years ago. Of course I could be mistaken, and I just haven't found a BP registry.
