Had my Q45 shipped from Indianapolis to Salt Lake City a few years ago. I went through Direct Express Auto Transport. Cost me $950. The company was very good about communicating with me, and they actually delivered a couple days earlier than promised. Driver was friendly when he dropped off the car. Better experience than I expected with auto-shipping. They used an open carrier.

My cousin had my rsx shipped from Virginia to Florida for $500. I'll try to get in touch with my cousin to ask him what's the name of the company.

Expect 1/2 country transport to be ~$800. whole country closer to ~$1500. More if vehicle is inoperable. Any company that's quoting you much less is most likely hiding fees or not one you want moving your car.

In most cases, if you have time to plan things out, it's cheaper to fly, drive back unless it gets horrible gas mileage and you have to pay for multiple hotel stays.

That would certainly be more fun. Heck, you could hit the Tail of the Dragon on the way home. :dblthumb: But that option assumes the car is roadworthy for such a trip. You also have to set up a temp tag and insurance.

In case anyone else needs this information, we use HIS transportation. They travel through all of the lower 48 states. The guy you need to talk to is Leroy. I'm not going to post his number here, but if you want it, send me a message and i'll get you in touch with him. He transported our classics to and from Long Beach last year for JCCS. They also transported the Vette to FL when we sold it.

...and for a lot less than what folks have been posting up. :)

They were the ones who transported ALL of our Datsuns to JCCS last year on a double-decker car hauler. :mike
