I'm thinking about selling some old rims. They are 15's, no tires on them.

I've searched the forums and found that UPS seems like a good way to go, anyone know what it will cost(just a ballpark number) to ship four wheels w/o tires. And if there are better shipping services than UPS.

Thanks-

depends on packaging, and distance to delivery location...

that can vary a good bit.

I'd plan on 10-20 dollars per wheel to ship them-Chet

I'd say about $35 per pair if they weigh less than 20 lbs each, but it really depends on how far it's being shipped.

I paid $25 to ship 4 rims via UPS, but the guy was about 2 hours away.

i payed $31 for 4 wheels shipped from indiana to upstate new york, but i think that was because they were coming from tire rack, not a private seller...theyd probably be a bit more for you

Boo to UPS. So overpriced. Fedex is LEAGUES cheaper and, in my experience, faster.

I suggest you go with them.

I'd say around $60 and you should be fine. Fedex and UPS also both have online shipping calculators where you input the dimensions/weight/destination of the package and they give you an estimate.

I always use UPS because it's just down the street from my "workplace". We ship stuff daily, and haven't had any problems that I know of. The main reason that I use it personally is so I can put the shipping cost on the business
