title says it all....i'm reinstalling the shims.....not sure on what the measurements are supposed to be

anyone have an FSM?

the tolerance for the valve clearance is .33mm-.41mm (.013"-.016"). just make sure to get some feeler gauges, have the tops of the lobes facing out, and then measure clearance with the feeler gauges. then document every valve (I1, I2, I3, I4, E1, E2, E3, E4, etc) and then make a pretty table out of it. then do a little math to find out how much more/less in the shim is gonna be needed to put it within the tolerance.

R=thickness of removed shimN=thickness of new shimM=measured valve clearance.37mm=.0146in.

N = R + (M - .37mm)
