Where can I find a Shim Setting Gauge for less than the cost of 3 Q45's?
This is for the Automatic Transmission oil pump.

I will find a way to make this tool or find a nice person from which I can borrow something like it.
How has everyone else gotten by with out this tool? Mind you this is needed if you touch almost anything inside the transmission.

Most people don't touch the inside of the transmission, at least past the transmission. Could you use a spark plug feeler gauge? Just a wild guess, since I've never seen the tool...

Well you need a feeler gauge to determine the thickness of the thrust washer for the oil pump. But thats after the tool helps you figure that out.
