has anyone ever used any sort of shim material for fixing clearance with their solid lifters? i would need a 3mm shim to fit spec but the dealer only sells them up to 2.68. and the size thats in there now is 2.35 so i would need about .7 mm shim material to clear the .34-.41 clearence range. i know the ideal way to fix this would be to buy a new camshaft but i dont have that cash right now.
