It could be a few different things...one, it could be a faulty sensor. Two, I don't know if you've stored your car at all or had it sit for a while, but sometimes, when cars sit, some linkage and such doesn't get the lubrication it gets when it's running. My Dad's Ram was sitting for a while and had the same thing happen, wouldn't shift til almost redline in every gear, and our transmission specialist saw/heard the problem and fixed it within 5 minutes with a little grease. Third, it could be your torque converter. Give some more descriptions of the problem and we'll narrow it down some more for ya. Good luck.

ok.. a better description....

1st to 2nd gear is fine... but there is a huge slip goin into thrid... wouldn't shift into third until i'm around 28mph..... after it finally gets into 3rd, no matter what speed i'm going.. it would never go into 4th.. it'll even red line.

not too sure how else to describe it..

i took it to someone and they told me they think it's the band in the transmission... and that i have to rebuild it.

but no, i haven't pulled codes.
