It could be a few different things...one, it could be a faulty sensor. Two, I don't know if you've stored your car at all or had it sit for a while, but sometimes, when cars sit, some linkage and such doesn't get the lubrication it gets when it's running. My Dad's Ram was sitting for a while and had the same thing happen, wouldn't shift til almost redline in every gear, and our transmission specialist saw/heard the problem and fixed it within 5 minutes with a little grease. Third, it could be your torque converter. Give some more descriptions of the problem and we'll narrow it down some more for ya. Good luck.
