shifting problem

ok i've searched and searched but have found nothing that relates to my problem.

i changed my clutch today because my older one was slipping pretty bad in 4th gear and 5th gear. after changing it out, it is real hard putting it in 1st gear after a complete stop, i have to really push it in. it also grinds when i try to put it in reverse. i did not resurface my flywheel during the change, the surface was pretty uneven. now my question is. is it because i did not resurface my flywheel? or is it because i have to change my master and slave cylinder's? it shifted absolutely fine before until AFTER i changed the clutch out. i use redline mt90 for my fluid. and i also put in a ss clutch line.

any help would be great.

I don't think a flywheel would make it hard to go into gears, although it would have been a smart thing to get it resurfaced.

yea i didnt really think so either, but i wasnt sure. i think that its just not adjusted properly. what do you guys think?

Also you put a line in.... how well did you bleed the system.

Since the system is hydraulic there is no adjustment in it, other than you can adjust the pedal. Your problem lies somewhere in the hydraulic lines, master or slave cylinder. Assuming you do not have any problems with your transmission or shifter.
