Shifting Problem 2000 Max

Hey guys,

I looked at a 2000 maxima that I'm considering buying. The problem with the car is that it jerks everytime it shifts gears - this is ture for all gears. The o/d function does not seem to work - no light. I hooked it up to a generic obd2 reader got the code: P1760?

What is P1760 and is it serious? How much $$ would it take to fix.

Any input would be helpful.

ok, im going to try to remember to look up your 1760. in the meantime, maybe loosen all your valve body grounds and tighten them back up. nissan has been having issues with this lately.

P1760 = Overrun Clutch Solenoid Valve

WHat is this? Where is it? and how much to fix? Any input would be much appreciated.

I cant remember but I think there was a TSB on this. If I am not mistaken its a new solonoid pack. price I dont know rough guess I would say around 170 for parts but could be way off.
