It is very hard to shift gears now.. Sometimes while im cruizing i have to rev the engine to shift gears. I'm not sure if it's my syncs or if i may be out of transmission/gear fluid.

Would i be able to add the gear fluid through the shifter area?

Any other ideas i might me missing?

Thanks for the help guys!

before you go and start adding gear oil into the gearbox, pull the filler plug and see if the oil level is up to it. Make sure the car's level (ie on 4 jack stands) when you pull it. If the fluid level is bellow the fill plug, then add gear oil back in.

use a 17mm box end wrench. it's a weird square plug, but a 12 point wrench should be able to get around it.

Also, check the FSM for proper clutch pedal height and free play. I changed out my shifter, the transmission fluid, the master cylinder, and the slave cylinder. After all of that it was still hard to shift. I looked in the FSM for the proper specs and my clutch pedal height was WAY off. So check that to get the easy fix out of the way.

I didn't think you could adjust the clutch pedal's height if it's hydrolic. How high should it be for the sr20det? and if you don't mind, how do i adujust this sucker? lol
