Is there any fluid in your master cylinder? If not you could try filling it and pressing the clutch (or having a friend do it) and watch for leakage at the slave, master, or possibly along a line.

If you don't find leaks you could try bleeding at both bleed points (slave cylinder and under the hood, front passenger side on the fender) If that doesn't do anything we can go from there...lots of people on here know more about clutches than I do :)

The wobbly shifter could be worn shifter bushings. They are cheap but from what I hear they are kind of a PITA to change.

yeah there are fluids in the master reservoir, no leaks at all. would bad shifter bushings cause poor or no shifting?

Is the clutch reservoir full? If not fill it up and bleed the slave and see if the pedal starts to feel like it should. If it's empty there is a reason for it, most likely the slave seal is shot. If it is, it will leak out pretty quickly. If it's full and the pedal feels like nothing, it could be the master. The slave goes the most often.

The shifter bushings are pretty easy to change. About an hour from the top, or 10 seconds from the bottom if you are pulling the trans to do the clutch.

ok so the problem with the clutch was the slave, so i replaced it. Now i just need to try and see if that fixes shifting, cuz i was not able to shift into any gears with the car on..... ill try it tomorrow. now what if it doesnt shift even after the clutch system has been bled? only thing left would be the clutch right?

pedal adjustment, at rest there should be no pressure on the clevis, if the clevis is too far in or too far out you loose range of motion
