Most people have problems with their shifter not staying in 5th gear, however my 240SX is a little difficult to take out of 5th gear after a trip of more than 30 miles. I dont have this trouble driving around town. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are two issues i can think of. First is that you may have the wrong viscosity oil in your transmission or you need a oil change in your transmission. (same thing, really)

Second is costly and requires the rebuild of the drive gear in your transmission. I would not bet on this being your issue yet, though.

Edit: On a side note, you may just need to bleed the air bubbles out of your clutch line. There is a FAQ for this at http://www.240sx.org/faq/index.html
