ive noticed that when the wheels start to spin (like when i hit a patch of snow or black ice) the shifter tends to shake left and right like the transmission if moving around pretty good. i believe that nismo makes some engine mounts and possibly some transmission mounts? do you think the mounts would stabilize the transmission better and reduce this violent shaking?

Yes. But all trannys are gonna do this to some degree. Unless you are putting down some serious power, I dobut that it would be worth the effort to change them. Unless they are blown that is. Get under your car (put it on ramps not jack stands) and wiggle the crap out of the transmission. If it moves signifigantly, they are shot. For the engine, just stand on each side and push on the engine. If it flexes a lot one way or the other, the motor mounts are gone as well.

Those are your shifter bushings, not motor and transmission.

Although you may need motor/transmission mounts also.

Sorry to jack the thread, but are there any other mounts beside the Nismo ones (aside from stock). I really don't want the position of engine to change (cause I'll have to get a new strut bar).
