shifter/ rear end shake (90 S13)
Ok I have a 1990 S13 fastback with about 152xxx miles on it. My shifter shakes at around 2-3rd gear, but cant figure out whats wrong, maybe its loose? Also my rear end shakes a lot. I'm thinkin I just need my tires balance kuz it only shakes at around 25mph to 45. But after 45 the shaking is goes away. Oh btw I never shift pass 3.5k unless messin around and stuff.Thanks

Seriously, fix a flat will cause your tires to shake like a small dog pooping peach pits. Same thing if you need a balance or have a bad tire.

I have the exact same problem, but mine shakes real bad in 1st gear around 5-15mph. I'm pretty sure it is the transmission itself because if it was the driveshaft it would shake all the time. I have also changed the transmission mount and it did nothing. There's a bearing in the transmission that is probably worn out.
