shifter dancing while driving

while I drive, my shifter nob moves around and wiggles, also it can be a little bit tough to change gears. Is this a transmission problem?

Start dismantling and see if you can see that part, it's right below the shifter so doesn't take too much work to see. You'll be able to see if that's the issue or not.

I ordered it from the local Nissan dealer cause I needed it urgently, but it was that same part

Thanks. Tried checking it out, but couldnt get the shift nob off yet.. Its on there pretty well
