Well I was really bored in math so I decided I'm going to work out some different shift points. Basicaly I just put the tq and hp curves into equations and going to see which'll give me some good values. I know two different ways I'm going to find points already and I'll see if I can make a mock 1/4 mile trial to see how they go. Obviously the times won't be accurate but I figure as long as I do the way they launch and just ignore friction and all that great stuff, it should at least tell me which would end up better. And no, I have no real intention of any of this to be meaningful, just really bored.
So basicaly, just wondering when most people shift. I'll probably try out like shifting to bring you back to peak torque, shifting for most overall hp and shifting at the redline. Anybody else have any other way they like to shift? I don't plan on showing some almighty way to shift, just want something to do in math class.
