hello, i have a stock 240sx ka 24 e. can anyone tell me what is the shift point of my car for drag? the perfect shift. thank you

I would shift @ redline on the stock speedo. Maybe someone can try out the gtech 2 and see what it says are good shift points.

shift at redline in 1st gear all the other gear would prolly be best at about 5600 after 5500 in the ka the torqe just falls off so theres no point in letting it go to red line

i guess it all depend on how your power band feels to your liking, i have drove stock ka's and it dose feel like it falls off at around 5500 or 5800 rpm's , but i feel like mine pulls all the way to 7k, but i have removed the secondary butterflys out of the stock intakemanifold .

Yeah it's all about your powerband, the only really good way to do it is to get a dyno of your car and work out the shift points, then just take it to the track and test them out to see if it needs any fine tuning. I usually shift like, 6500, 6100, 5800, 5600. Though I don't race so I've never cared to find out which way is faster on the track.

1st probably so he wont bog off the line and get a good launch

2nd probably to keep momentum or it comes a lil fast

3rd and 4th to stay in the power band

launch at 3000 with open diff, 35 with lsd, shift at 5800
