shift "p" warning - help

so i need some help. i tried doing a search but nothing came up.

when i put my car in park and turn the car off it says that i need to put it in park. im not exactly sure what to do or what is happening. has anyone come across this? any help at all is apprectiated. thanks guys!

hmmm, I would definitely call the dealer on that one. maybe turn the car off in neutral then when it should be warning you put it in park. Maybe that will reset something. so then try turning it off in park again to see if it worked. Thats probably the first thing I would try.

yeah i tried that it doesnt work. i might have to call the dealer and see what they say. they better not tell me some bad news.
