stuck in park, no clicking noise when depressing the brake pedal. dealer doesn't have one. neither does autozone or advance auto parts. also no lock release on console like in my wifes' car. literally stuck. so, junk yard? suggestions? jeff

just found the section of the f.s.m.(at-77) regarding this problem. it may as well be in french. i couldn't figure out if voltage is present in a circuit if my life depended on it. was hoping to just go buy anew one and stick it in. now it seems that pinpointing the problem may be difficult. and driving to have it checked remains impossible. ugh!!! jeff
