Shift lock and power steering gone after replacing electrical fuse 20?!

Hey all,

I'm posting for help for my GF's 2015 Sentra that was bought as is used from a dealership. The car was previously a rental if that info matters.

Saturday morning my dad and I embarked on a project to fix his cigarette lighter fuse. So we popped open her fuse box and pulled out each fuse to figure out which one was broken before replacing it. We found that the 20 fuse was broken and replaced it. The cigarette lighter was working but two HUGE problems occurred.

1. We turned on her car but it wouldn't shift out of park and into drive. And when we uncovered the shift lock, we shifted it into drive and then we wouldn't be able to shift it back into park.

2. The power steering was completely GONE as well.

We were befuddled as to how this happened. Any ideas? I was hoping someone would have an answer before we take it to a local Nissan Dealership and bite the bullet for the ridiculous service prices they charge. Or should I take it to a local mechanic?
