Where can I get a shift knob that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? What type does everyone have by the way?

I ordered a short shifter and new leather boot, so I want a shift knob thats not all wore out. The stock one I have is completely worn out and looks crappy.

nismo shift knob. 35 bucks plus shipping. http://www.nismo.us was the site i picked it up from, but it looks like nissan has since bought the site and you can't get that part from them anymore. Sad.

I bought my greddy metal shift knob (the bulbous one) for 30 bucks. It's very weighty and I love the way it fits right in the cup of my palm.

I caught a 25th anniversary Maxima shift knob on ebay and it fits pretty good. The main problem is that our shift boot has that ring on top that meets the stock knob and gives it a real slick shape. I've since replaced that boot and did away with the ring thing and just put a zip tie on the underside so you can't see it and it meets the Maxima shift knob quite nicely now.

You might run a search on ebay to see if you can find something unique like that.

I'm a big fan of the Razo RA25...black chrome, fits nicely in your hand, and 340g...

i work at autozone and found one similar to the one that MECPInstaller said he has.

Except mine is brushed aluminum with the shift pattern cutout on top, and blue LEDs behind it, so that when you turn on the lights at night the LEDs light up the shift pattern....it's fairly light, and fits my hand pretty well, plus it sits lower than the stock shifter.

I don't remember the cost of it, i think it was like $20. I can get you a part # if you want. I'll try to wire it in this week and get a pic for you guys.
