I have a 91 240SX SE and I love my car, only problem is that the shift knob on mine is soo damn ugly. It looks like a black baseball. I been looking around and I was thinking of a Nismo carbon fiber knob but cant seem to find a place around my area that has one in stock or can order one for me.Anyone know of any good places online? What kind of shift knobs u guys got? I was thinking of a greddy trust knob but since its all metal i can imagine how its gona burn in the summer, what u guys recommend. Thanks

You can take out the leather "wrapping" on the stock knob and it will reveal a better looking knob IMO that shows the 5 speed pattern.

Did you rip it out all the leather and plastic down to the bare metal ? I've stripped it of its leather, but that's about it.

That titanium must get awfully hot in the summer.

i just put a greddy counterweight knob on mine today. seems to be a little heavier than the stocker, which was surprisingly heavy. the greddy knob is nice and small.

i'm going to order a weighted wooden shift knob soon to match my steering wheel.

If you have the stock one wrapped in leather, yes, that's what it looks like underneath.

I like my Razo shift knob. I also liked my 20th aniversary shift knob I bought for my maxima a while back. It was brushed aluminum and leather and OEM.

I'm using a Z32 shift knob. A little taller than the stock knob, so I got a little more leverage and height back after going to the B&M. I'll post a pic if it ever stops raining.
