my shift knob is gettin a little worn down... little black flakes come off on my hand sometimes when I'm shifting, so I'm looking for a nice looking replacement.

I dont want anything stupid looking; honestly I want something really close to stock leather or whatever. Anyone know a good place that sells nice looking, clean, non-ricey shift knobs at a reasonable price?

Some guy was gonna sell me his latest-generation Prelude SH shift knob for $30, but i guess he never followed up. You should look into those knobs, very nice. Leather with the shift pattern pressed in. I've heard really good things about Integra GSR knobs too.

Yes I know the shifter thread is different, but I've heard from members that Honda/Acura knobs fit alright on Nissans.

Look into Prelude SH knobs and Integra GSR knobs, if you like the look, buy one and try it out. Let us all know how it goes.

I personally really like the RAZO RA-68 shift knob~! It's leather with red stitching. One of the best characteristic of the RA-68 is the weight. 400 grams of smoothe shifting. They also come in a 170 gram weight, but I prefer a heavier knob. You can purchase it inexpensively here: http://216.82.69.117/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=RA-68

Putting a Honduh shift knob on a Nissan is Blasphamy! If you do it, make sure to get some typeR stickers too. - lol

J/K - I have seen those particular shift knobs - they look good if you like the stock look. Just don't get one that does not directly screw on. I know lots of people (including myself) who have had problems with the ones that have the little allen screws.
