take a towel, wrap it aroudn the knob, take a pair of vise grips or channel locks, twist like a bish, and itll come off. HTH

I remember people posting about this problem years ago heheh.

I used a baseball batting glove and twisted like a mofo and it finally came off :)

Thats funny, I got a new shift knob for free and I went to take that sob off and I was like damn.. After about five minutes of cussing and prying on that ***** I got it off. My forearm (sp) was all swole after that.

well since none of my friends or i were strong enough to twist that dam thing off i finally just got my hack saw and took off the outter layer until i could just use a monkey wrench and twist that dam thing off. only prob is now the threading on my new shift knob is too big for the shifter......thats ok my friend has the threader thingy to fix that. so ya ill post pics on my cardomain.
