I have the 6 speed manual, and when it's in 3rd gear or higher the shift knob seems to jerk forward and backward when I cruise between 20 - 40 mph. Anyone have this issue or amd I just paranoid about engine movement...Its bad enough where you can actually see it moving. Its in gear all the way.

yes it does do that normally. I was paranoid about that at first but after i drove a friends Tiida i noticed that it is norm. the same also happens in 5th gear but it is not at noisy as 3rd gear. All other cars i have driven that are not tiida's or do it but it is just not noticiable. the only reason you notice it is because it makes a noise when it happens this is because of the noise that the gearbox makes. Dont stress it is NORMAL!

It's completely normal. Happens in my Versa too.
