has anyone been able to remove it, i wanted to try a different knob on there, since i work at a shop with plenty of different style of knob, i could err test fit which style and ones work for you guys. >_<

BUT i couldnt for the life of me firgure out how to remove it.

I believe the Momo reverse up knob mainly used by STI user will work.

Sparo has two knob that might work the fast r and the globe r and a new one that coming out for 2007 might work.

i cant say that Razo has anything out yet, but i should mention it to them.

Another thing that work nicely is the MOMO e-brake! the pitstop steel metal matches the trim so well.

the shift knob should be a twist off according the my friend that works at razo usa. he has installed one already. its just that the glue or whatever they use inside the knob has to be heated up. I havent installed the new knob i have yet but will sometime this week or next. also when removing the knob be careful as the reverse is spring loaded according to my friend once again at razo usa. hope this helps u some.

thanks, but wow, razo to my knowledge has no shift knob that would work. i for got to ask the guys at the booth if they were coming out with anything. we buy their product for our shop and most of it seem like it wouldnt fit correctly. But haha if you figure it out tell me. i will prob try a blowdryer but i doubt that will work.

Well i was the guinea pig and yup i got a shift knob that fit and work. :p

I am using the Sparco Globe X.

the follow shift knob that will also work.Sparco Fast X.Momo Race Evo w/ Reverse up.Razo GT advance (but it doesnt look as good.

also note that my orginally shift knob is rip to shread. and there is no glue holding it in. You need to really pull it straight out, it stuck in there.
