shift knob

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

does any body know how to take out the stock shift knob.

Twist. It's threaded on. If you can't break it loose by hand, hit the gym and bulk up, or use a pipe wrench. If you use the pipe wrench though , dont expect to re-use your stock knob, it will get mangled.

Put a Towel over the knob, and then put the wrench over the towel. Twist it off by hand, if that dont work do the above and no damage is done.
