Shift Knob

Anyone know how to remove shift knob from shift boot?

In what kind of car?

Some have a clip that holds the boot to the knob, you just open that up. In my S13 you just unscrew the knob.

Got It. Just had to read thru old posts. My 17yr old just purchased his 90 RHS13, KA24E, 5spd. The first thing he had to have was a new Shift Knob. Read the posts and viola, turn knob counter clockwise as hard as you can, we used a pipe wrench. Kinda mangled the old one, but the new one is APC red/chrome.

I amaze my father every time something goes wrong with my car...I get on NICO for about an hour and when I come back I know exactly what is wrong and how to fix it, lol.
