My question concerns that leather covering below the shift knob on a standard transmission 95 SE. Is that cheap to replace? B/c the seller of a 95 SE says it's all cracked and ripped.

ebay has great prices: average ~$20 for the item + shpping together... if some1 outbids u, let them & just bid on another auction of the same seller... he posts a handful @ a time.

wasn't there a sponsor that sells them for similar prices?

What shift knob are you getting and did you get a short shifter?

Nismo actually sells a kit that includes the shifter boot and the handbrake boot as a leather upgrade over the standard vinyl. Relatively cheap if I remember.

So I guess the answer is yes, there are a couple of inexpensive options to replace the cracked vinyl boot.
