I have an S14 and im geting a Nismo Carbon Fiber Shift Knob in a couple of days. I've been trying to twist off the stock one but it doesn't move.

Should i keep trying to twist it off or i heard that i could cut it with a razer what should i do?

it twists off. if it's stuck, get a towel and wrap it around real tight and then, using the towel, twist

wrap it in a towel, get some vice grips or a c-clamp and go at it. Make sure your twisting it the right way...

Might find a short shifter on one of the links off my car domain site.

go wank a bit more (to build up wrist strength) then go at it. I could send over my friend who has incredible wrist strength (wanks at least twice a day) and he would have it off in a sec!

I had to use a pliers and a towel (not to rip the knob up) to get mine off. Nissan seems to put locktight on or something, since my buddy's 350z had the same issue.

aha...so wanking off is what gave me this amazing strength...yes, it came off after a couple of tries, but I succeeded over my brother..
