shift knob newbie

ive searched around about manual shift knobs... my question is, can you install this shift knob onto our shifter? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CPILZE the razo RA96A GT.. it said it is compatible with the reverse rings. and if the knob is threaded will it still work??

To install it, i would just pull hard on the shift knob to get it out, then to install the razo knob i would just push it down on the shift stick??

any suggestions would help.

did you check the Razo website for compatibility list if any fit?

i didnt find a compatibility sheet. it just states that hte knob are for manuals. Amazon, ebay doesnt include much details about it either. since our shift shaft arent threaded and these knobs might be threaded do you think i can just push it down and it will stay put??

I have seen a few aftermarket shifter that are not thread but held on by 3 screws that you use to tighten against the Shifter shaft.

Maybe that is what the Razo uses.
