yea do a auto- manual swap. Actually i think there is something you can unplug that makes your car shift harder. i think its in the faqs section i think its called shifting faster w an auto.

you could look into a torque converter. i know they make them for hondas (of course), it'll let you have your car in gear, and step on the brake and gas at the same time and rev up to about 3000 rpm for a better launch. check into it.

He already has a torque converter, what he would have to find is a "high stall torque converter". Stock converters engage at a lower rpm, allowing you to take off from about 1-2k rpms. A high stall will have a rating at which they will engage- ie: 4000 rpm. IMO- if youre gonna spend the money on that, just swap to manual, its probably cheaper.

converters for Nissans are extremely expensive.I spent $1200 for my 4000RPM converter last year. They are expensive because they are all custom pieces. Most people don't believe there can be any fun in an automatic, and buy standards, so these converters are all special order.

Yeah, for 1200 bucks you could easily swap to manual.

i've pulled that plug for making the auto transmission shift "faster" u can sense a little difference not much tho i dont think. did it while i was at the track i took 2/10's off from my first run but i also tuned overdrive off. i think i heard that level 10 makes a torque converter for like $500 and can make the stall whatever u want

level 10 converters are nice, but tend to degrade quickly from my experience.I had one made by the F-Body specialists at Yank Converters.
