Alright...
I've searched first off but I want more opinions before I hack off the clutch hydraulic damper box and find out that is the least of my problems.O yeah, this swap was a RB25-koukiS13. Note: I've bled the system 234732648 times already.
I'll start with a quick intro and get to it. Swapped the RB25 and have been driving it for 3 months, shifting is perfect but it works, me=happy. While getting ready to drive to school, the car shift like garbage, so I leave the car in the garage. After researching these forums for about a year I've found that slave cylinders are something that fails on this engine. So I get the NAPA replacement, and to no avail, no shifty. So I replace the master, knowing that this goes in 240 commonly. Again, no shifty. Now I am pissed, "is it something wrong with the transmission (read clutch etc.)" I ask my self. So I mess around with shift fork. Here's where my picture comes in:
First question, is this the proper resting position for the fork/lever?Because I can push the fork, with my hand, to the red line with no problem. And I'm praying that the red line isn't where the lever is suppose to rest.
So if slave is at the proper rest point (as seen in pic), then should the fork/lever be able to be pushed roughly to where the green line is?
So hopefully someone can just run and check quickly under their car to see the resting position and see what it is like relative to mine. When that is done this thread can be locked.
Thanks in advance....
