Shift delay 1995 infiniti g20

Hello guys i just am looking for some general info about my 1995 infiniti g20 automatic transmission the cars engine sounds great i replaced a great deal on this car just to get it running but it seems like the person who owned it didnt perform even the basic maintenance on the teansmission and i think one or more of my solenoids are going out. I just want to try to narrow it down to get the problem fixed it shifts alright but therw is a slight delay and feels like it slams into gear when i switch to "R" and when i put into "D" and begin to push gas it seems like its having a rough time shifting into 2nd but after that it shifts fine i wanted to get the transmission problems fixed before i go get it tuned. Any advice on what should be replaced or what the problem possibly could be would help me greatly and be appreciated thx guys.

How many miles are on the transmission?
