shift boot problem

I just got a nismo gt shift knob but its like half the size of the stock knob and the shift boot tends to hang around the bottom. Anybody got a solution?

I bought one of those cheap leather boots . it had lots of length. maybe you can extend boot up and wrap tape around circumference of stick shift on inside to keep boot up. Incidently, how much did your knob cost? I just got my knob and boot stolen. I bought a cheap knob for 5 bucks at princess auto but it is pretty lame.

No offense, but doesn't it look like crap like that? I wanted to get a Nismo GT shift knob to eventually use with a B&M shifter, but I don't really want the shift boot to look messy.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how you tied it off.

Now I've got it...thanks, man. I'm gonna ask my fiance to get me a Nismo GT shift knob and maybe some Sparco aluminum pedals for Christmas.

I have a B&M shifter, had the same problem. I used a piece of rubber tubing to keep the boot up tightly under the shift knob. Works like a charm.
