shift boot help

ok now before i go and try it myself and break stuff i wanna know how to take off the stock leather shift boot? and please dont tell me to use the search button cause ive looked and couldnt find anything

pull off the big trim peice that goes around the shifter and and stereo and the ac controls. then unscrew 4 screws, take off the shift knob, undo a little clip thats holding the boot on the top of the shifter then it should be off

nice i was going to do that but wasnt sure if i was going to break the peice in half lol

ya i remember first taking it off i thought i was gonna break it, but it just snaps in so u just gotta give it a little tug
