Hi, my 1992 Nissan 240sx super hicas, ka24de with 185,ish kms has minor vibration from the shift assembly, when in motion from 80 km & up, below that speed all is well, so i dropped in a new B&M short shifter assembly and the vibration still exists, does anyone else get the similiar vibration at high speeds ?, is there a cure for this problem, i was thinking about using a peice of quark cut to size in between where the bottom of the shifter assembly mates to the top of the transmission, any suggestions ?, i think the assembly may not sit right inside the transmission, what do you think ? would it affect or in worse case damage the assembly/transmission by adding 1/8 quark in between the mating surface of the shifter assembly and transmission.

You might make sure its not the trans vibrating.. Do you feel the vibration in the cabin at all, or does just the shifter shake?
