can someone help me find a g35 coupe shell or 350z shell. saw a company that makes a kit to put an rb26dett in either of the 2 cars. its easier and more legal that getting a skyline. if anyone knows of a good condition shell for sale, preferably one that had a manual trans that would be great.

I don't think it would matter whether or not the shell was a manual or automatic, as you are going to be replacing the entire drive train anyway. The VQ transmission, to the best of my knowledge, will not bolt up to an RB series motor.

You are going to be swaping ECU's, wiring harnesses, and anything else RB related, so all you need is a rolling chassis.

Due to those vehicles being newer and not having near as long of a production run yet as the 240sx has, it may be hard to source a cheap shell, or one in any kind of salvagable condition, I would swap it into an S14 if you want a nice rb26 powered car. good luck on your search though.

even on ebay they are still asking up to 13k for a 350z that is in horrible condition. i think my next step is going to be some junk yards around town. what do u guys think is a good price for a good condition shell for a 350 or g35?

they dont have it on their site yet but it is JE import performance. they had an article in turbo magazine explaining the kit and the rb26 in a g35 coupe.
