do yuo have to give it a liitle gas to get it to fire? try pulling the AFM. if there is no difference that could be the culprit. Is your ACC valve sucking air from the outside or from the pipetract? If you are using the OEM Skyline BOV it cannot be vented to the outside, it must be fed back into the hose between th e AFM and turbo, the spring is weak and it bleeds badly.

1.) yes gas pedal has to be half way down to start

2.)acc valve sucking air from throttle body3.)using turbo xs bov atomospheric

I'll try the afm deal and give a status in an hour(2043 time on deck) or so.

Thanks for the help!

Do you have an AFC of some sort to compensate for the atmospheric BOV? If not, that would be a big reason why you can't idle.

ok now where at starting but very hard. very sluggish, have to give it at least 1/4 % of throttle. have an afc 2 but not installed yet. was worried if i installed it i'd have more problems. I can do the wiring but to configure the safc2 i don't know the in out values and all that bs. Do you guy think that can help or hurt my situation?

put that thing back in the box! Your car doesn't run correctly now, don't insert another variable. What did you do to improve the startability?

Installed

Nismo FprWalbro 255lphCleaned and ensured grounds read 0.0ohm to ecu and relays.recharged battery- to 100%

Then it started but i had to adjust the timing a little. Also, found a big vaccum leak. Top of the throttle body above acc valve. I have no other hoses loose. I can floor it and it picks up very slowly but i think it gets to about 5000 rpm and then stays there no higher. Fuel pressure stays at 40psi the whole time.

did you take a look at the turbo before you put the motor in? My boy's car did that and his exhuast wheel had exploded. are the plugs new? what do they look like?

i sent that wire to the ign relay #5 position. SO i know it gets it's 12vdc for starting. but i'll try putting it back to the orange wire.
