My 360 is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 week turnaround time contrary to Microsoft's claims. It runs a LOT quieter now (Disc Drive noise primarily). Only hitch is the process was dumbas$ UPS. Because of the ice storms here power has been out to our primary house for almost a week now so we are staying at our other house. UPS tries to deliver the package to my other house KNOWING that no one in my city has power. So I call UPS and request it to be delivered to my house on the next attempt. The UPS guy gets lost trying to deliver it to my house and LIES and says I wanted to have my package left at the dropoff center all the way across town so I had to trek over there and wait in line behind all the Christmas shippers but that's minor. Repair was good and fast and I have my Xbox back and I got a 6 month Xbox Live gold extension FTW. Back to kicking PS3's sorry as$ and taking names.

I love it. If you aren't a fan of the KOTOR series you wouldn't like it. It's the best RPG I've ever played.

I am playing Mass Effect for the 2nd time- really good game (if you like KOTOR) I also have COD4 great game, but i have to play it for 30 mins at a time because the game engine makes my dizzy. I dont have any problems w/ Halo

And you got a 6 month card? Mine was gone for almost a month (granted it was summer so Im sure a lot of XBoxes were getting played overtime and abused) and I got a 1 month card, that I promptly lost somewhere in my room. When you guy an XBox Live card, activate it immediately. I suck.

Call 1-800-4MYXBOX and follow the prompts. It'll eventually get you to a rep who will take your address and send you a box that has everything you need to send your Xbox back. Put the xbox in, seal it up with the supplied tape, send it back. Completely painless

Yeah, that sounds a lot like my experience when i had to get my x-box repaired. I had to go all around town to find the right UPS just to pick up the box to ship my X-box with. Picking it up wasn't as bad. However, when I tried to play the new x-box, my wireless controller wouldn't sync with it, so I had to buy a new one.

Maybe you can shed some light on my problem since Xbox says its a unique one. Here's the link to my thread, easier than repeating my problem to you. The issue has gone away for aboot the last week, but I know it'll return, its like herpes, it always does.
