She is running again (for the third time). She's actually running better than I've ever felt her run, even with the stock engine N/A. She's got arias pistons with an 8.8:1 compression and a fully built head which probably helps. She runs so smooth that when I'm idling, I don't eve know IF THE CAR IS ON!! It's awesome. Haven't driven her hard yet, still breaking her in. But she really purrs. Now, if I could only figure out this oil leak...

Driving hard = break in. If you're using chromoly rings, you'll find it hard to break them in by driving it easy.

Grats on the achievement, by the way. Sounds like it's gonna be a good one.

So you don't think I should go easy for the first 500 miles or so? cause I'd love to see what she does, but I'm trying to be responsible?

NO! Are you going to baby it later? Get it warmed up, and start breaking in those rings.

You need to break it in hard. But make sure it gets to operating temp first. Maybe don't redline it but take it close. Get to normal speed and then do a couple hard runs and let her cool off before parking it.Change your oil after 50/150/250/500/1000....Continue every 500 or so until all shaving are gone..Otherwise your oil pump will die, not to mention your cams, bearings, etc
