Yeah thats right, just in case you didn't get it from the title, my 240 is gone :sad. Got into a nasty run in with a light pole yesterday (I can't really explain what happened...I paniced like a n00b) and as far as I know, she's totalled. Pictures can be found at http://members.cox.net/sxracing08/Wreck.zip (they're big files, and cox limits my bandwith so if someone can host these elsewhere...)

I don't know what I'm going to do about my car situation, I definately want another 240SX, but I don't know when I'll be able to get one. I'm looking at getting the V6 Tiburon as just something to get me around for now, and because I want a brand new car (you know something with now prior accidents that I don't know about, unlike my 240).

I'm still in shock, still at a loss for words, and still pissed at myself for not being able to get out of a spin that I could have gotten out of on a normal day with my eyes closed...but maybe its just god's way of telling me something.

I don't think private dealers are open on sundays, Blake, so no I haven't called about the S14a yet. Fred, I'll check out the BST forum though.

Find out who runs the damn place and get his home number, then leave messages threatening severe bodily harm of you don't get the 240, cheap.

Yes, you really have to swoop fast IF you want an S14. Keep lots of cash on hand, and go as early as you can.

I have found a 92 shell (no engine) that I'm going to buy off my friends mechanic for 150 dollars ASAP. Then its just swapping the engine and transmission into the new shell, and I'm back in business.

I guess things work out for the better, as the new shell has never been in an accident, while my car has been in one prior to this one.

Greg, much appreciated :).Thanks Ben. I finally realize how you felt when you almost lost your baby:(

I'm still a little depressed, because I had so many memories in that car, even though its a new shell it'll never be the same. But eh, I get my 240 back!

I feel your pain man 100%!!!!! I also lost my pride & joy last month. I had a run in with a patch of ice, I lost complete control (like a noob) and smashed it. It was a complete right off. I got quite a bit of money back but as of now my parents aren't letting me buy a new car. But if I ever win the lottery or something.... 240 is gonna be the first thing I buy. Plus insurance is rapeing me right now!

I wish the best of luck to you man.

Hey ZERO, you should probly try to salvage some from the wrecked 240 and sell it...

You can do the seats, and other misc. interior parts. If she's going to the junkyard, it's quick, easy money on top of the price they pay for your car.

...just a suggestion if it's not too late.

Eh...Update--somewhat.

As many of my friends know, I'm planning on parting her out, seeing as its unrepairable, and I need to (quickly) find transportation. I'm selling local only (ie in the state of VA, and some parts of NC) as I don't want to deal with shipping. I should have a list of stuff up on BST soon.

As for transportation goes now, I'm picking up my 3000GT tomorrow:sad. I'm really not a fan of it. I will however be buying a S14 as soon as possible.

Oh well, guess it'll just take a little while until I can make my way back into the nissan scene. Blah. (No I'm not leaving nico)
