...with bad valves... I think.
KA24DE with 95k on her, and she's had an odd tapping sound since I bought her. At first I thought it was the timing chain which is a common KA problem. Upon further inspection (actually looking for the source) it seems to be above the #2 cylinder (looking from the front) on the left side in the valve cover. Which leads me to believe it's a valve. If I'm possibly wrong, please correct me.
If I'm right, should I just get intake and exhaust valves for that area, or should I just get a kit and replace them all? The engine runs strong, or atleast as strong as it was when I first bought it. The previous owner ran it 10k on dino oil without filter change or oil change, so it doesn't surprise me all that much.
Thanks for any help guys.
P.S. Edit: I can't find an OEM valve kit. I can find separate valves, but not a kit. Help?
