Finally after 6 weeks in the shop and a lot of issues, I drove her home. The shop I took the car to is one of the best fabricators around here. Great person to work with and has a wealth of knowledge.
I took it to the shop to get a custom made turbo manifold to replace the POS manifold that kept cracking. My specifications was to make the same manifold design with piping that would not crack. While in the shop he found that my turbo was fried and the wastegate! I had to order a Tial 38mm wastegate and I also through in a good turbo blanket. The turbo was replaced with a new one but it was not a true Garrett turbo. So while I was getting my manifold made with the old turbo I had a new one made that would not allow the downpipe to be bolted without hitting the transmission housing! So I had to go back to the place and get the old turbine housing. Then we had to take it to another shop to have it machined for a larger turbine wheel. The person at the shop was very helpful through these issues. I just wished I would have told him to build the manifold they way he wanted to and avoid these issues. By the way IRC he said the turbine wheel is the size of a GT37 which means my turbo has been upgraded and should give me more HP! I know I have a lot of cleanup to do!

LOL, yeah it has been a long time. My family grew some more and when you have a bunch of kids it takes your time and money away.
I have kids from ages 7 to 29! I am trying to influence my youngest son, he is 9 years old. Hasn`t really caught on to the car scene but
I keep pluggin away. My oldest son who is 29 is happy I am back into getting the 240 running. Also when NOPI quite having the Atlanta
events it kind of killed it for us. Yeah I think I forgot most of the stuff I learned since it has been over 8 years ago. Good to hear from you again.

You're in luck - We'll be in ATL for NOPI Sept 19-21. Hope to see you and him there. :)

Nothing eats into your hobby time like kids do. Fortunately both my boys, 7 and 4, will gladly hang out in the garage with me.

My 240 is stranded at my parents house. One of the fuel lines on top of the tank shat itself. I need to drop the tank and swap them all out.

Cool my youngest son just likes playing Pokemon and Mindcraft. I have to make him do stuff otherwise he will turn into a couch potatoe!!
My oldest son is 29 we talk about the 240 and he helps me work on it but he lives over an hour away. My 9 year old doesn`t realize he will
want to drive the car soon!
