Well she is finally finished (for the most part). Took a total of 6 months to complete her, but the wait was well worth it. Still have to pull the fenders and get a hks ssqv bov, but the car is so much responsive at 7psi than the old setup at 13 psi. I am going to wait untl all of the little bugs are taken care of. Oh man, boost feels so good, I like to watch the speedometer move faster than the tachometer.

The setup: pk gt 32 turbopk manifold, downpipe, dumptubeenthalpy ecu tunefidanza flywheelsh!tty 1st gen eclipse bov (leaking really bad)

Here are some pics!

How did you like the etd manifold from your old setup compared to this one?

awesome! Tubular manifold is so nice!!

Could you give a quick run-through of your suspension setup?

It really doesn't compare. I know the bigger turbo helps, but the spool is just as quick as the last setup and more top end due to the tubular manifold. The etd manifold was easy to do things because of the top mount. However, the bottom mount looks slicker and work can be done under the car.

just curious how much all the PK equipment added up to. i was using a seriously crappy log manifold and a T3 super 60 in my last setup too also at around 13psi.

I see you switch from JWT to Enthalpy. Was there any issues with the JWT?

Love those wheels!

Haven't got it on the dyno, but it seems to be runnin less rich and there is no funny idle problems. I also like the fact that I can run atmospheric bov.

Looks nice! I'd be worried about that turbo oil feed line passing so close to the manifold though-- things are gonna get pretty hot there. ...Any way you can move it away a little more, or shield it?

You can run atmospheric with Enthalapy, plus it's said to be a better tune, and is cheaper. I'm sold. But what are you doing with the JWT?

Thanks for the advice, I plan to add a couple of heat shields in places that need it. The coating really helps the cooling under the engine bay, but still better to take precaution then think everything is fine.

Glad to see you got all the parts together. It will be interesting to see what I can put down with your old ETD and JWT vs. you new Phat Ka-T/Enthalpy setup. What boost are you goin to dyno at?

I am going to dyno the car at 7psi, 10psi, and 12 or 13 psi. The car already feels alot faster than the setup at 13psi of the old setup, it seems like there is more torque than before. I should be dynoing in a month or so.

Lol, yeah one of my side lamps is black because I got this one from the junkyard and didn't feel like painted it. I think it gives the car some kind of appeal to it, but will paint it once I get the car painted sometime next year.

Yeah, most of enthalpy tunes people run atmospheric, it is really scary how well the car runs with his tune compared to the jwt tune.

But that is amazing that he could tune it to run that way without it stumbling.

Your power level also probably helps that you're running a decent sized turbo and your AF's arent 9:1 like the old setup.

first gen dsm bov's aren't meant to be vented to the atmosphere. It's not a ****ty bov, it just needs to be recirculated. Cool sounds tho when you try to vent it tho eh? hehe very vocal bov.
