Could you give a quick run-through of your suspension setup?
It really doesn't compare. I know the bigger turbo helps, but the spool is just as quick as the last setup and more top end due to the tubular manifold. The etd manifold was easy to do things because of the top mount. However, the bottom mount looks slicker and work can be done under the car.kings_blend wrote:How did you like the etd manifold from your old setup compared to this one?
Haven't got it on the dyno, but it seems to be runnin less rich and there is no funny idle problems. I also like the fact that I can run atmospheric bov.DammitBobby wrote:I see you switch from JWT to Enthalpy. Was there any issues with the JWT?
Love those wheels!
Ivan doesn't work at Sound Performance anymore, but you can reach him at http://www.turbo240.com/forums/4felix20 wrote:nice. do you know where i can still order PK stuff? i'm not sure who i contact (ivan?) or if they even make those anymore..
I sold the jwt ecu setup about 5 months ago.Chezedik wrote:You can run atmospheric with Enthalapy, plus it's said to be a better tune, and is cheaper. I'm sold. But what are you doing with the JWT?
Thanks for the advice, I plan to add a couple of heat shields in places that need it. The coating really helps the cooling under the engine bay, but still better to take precaution then think everything is fine.fiznat wrote:Looks nice! I'd be worried about that turbo oil feed line passing so close to the manifold though-- things are gonna get pretty hot there. ...Any way you can move it away a little more, or shield it?
Fuel setup is power enterprise 550cc side feed injectors, 255 lph walbro fuel pump.Jookmasta wrote:whats ur fuel setup btw? ya i think u need to get another bov.............i have a feeling u may boost just a tad bit higher than 7 psi with that turbo lol. good stuff though.
I am going to dyno the car at 7psi, 10psi, and 12 or 13 psi. The car already feels alot faster than the setup at 13psi of the old setup, it seems like there is more torque than before. I should be dynoing in a month or so.NateDogg wrote:Glad to see you got all the parts together. It will be interesting to see what I can put down with your old ETD and JWT vs. you new Phat Ka-T/Enthalpy setup. What boost are you goin to dyno at?
Lol, yeah one of my side lamps is black because I got this one from the junkyard and didn't feel like painted it. I think it gives the car some kind of appeal to it, but will paint it once I get the car painted sometime next year.JDMEnthused wrote:nice setup, mang..
are your side lamps painted black or is that just me?
Yeah, most of enthalpy tunes people run atmospheric, it is really scary how well the car runs with his tune compared to the jwt tune.Chezedik wrote:But does enthalpy let you go atmospheric.
